EXHIBITION Bay Exhibition Park, a new urban public space, officially opened to the public recently in Bao’an District. The first elevated linear park in South China, the project features an aerial running track, 24-hour access, and a design that blends into the natural environment. It has become an “energy hub” for leisure, sports, and social activities for residents, according to Bao’an Daily. Adjacent to the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center and the Fuhai River, the park connects exhibition venues to office spaces, hotel apartments, and residential communities through multi-level spaces and pedestrian bridges, creating a vibrant yet relaxed urban environment. In the next phase, the local government plans to integrate the park’s underground level with Qianhai Snow World, developing a theme park focused on marine technology and outdoor sports to attract more visitors. Additionally, a comprehensive service system will be established, including international volunteers offering multilingual support for overseas guests. (Wang Jingli) |
